- Studio: SideResult Software, Portland, Oregon, USA. Web: sideresult.com.
- Help us help you: say which device and system version you play on (for example iPhone with iOS 26.1), what you were doing, and what happened. A screenshot helps.
- Purchases and refunds go through Apple. To ask for a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com.
Fauna Fantasy runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later, Apple TV with tvOS 26 or later, and Apple Vision Pro with visionOS 26 or later.
Common questions
Saves, journals and iCloud
Each save is a journal. Journals save on your device and sync through your own iCloud account, so the same journal carries on across iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Vision Pro when each is signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud on.
On Apple TV, sign in to iCloud in Settings. Without it, tvOS can clear a game's local data when the device runs low on space, and your journals could go with it.
Purchases and Restore Purchases
Starseeds live in your account's Wallet, which every journal shares. Auto-Battle, the Wayfarer's Kit and the Founder's Bundle are one-time purchases. If one is missing on a new device, open Pemberton's Peddlery (the Shop in Grovehaven), go to Offers and choose Restore Purchases, signed in with the Apple Account that bought it.
Auto-Battle is an optional in-app purchase: your heroes play their own turns, against the same foes for the same rewards. Every card in the game can also be earned by playing.
Pack odds
Every pack shows its exact drop rates, pity counters and duplicate protection before you open or buy it. Money never buys a specific card. Where local rules restrict paid random items, packs can be opened only with Acorns, tokens and earned Starseeds.
Parents and spending limits
Every purchase sits behind a parental gate: press and hold, then answer a times-table question. Settings also has a monthly spending limit, and changing it needs a grown-up. Apple's Screen Time and Ask to Buy work as usual.
Game Center and the Arena
The Arena uses Game Center. The game asks you to sign in when you first open the Arena, never at launch. Quick Match pairs teams of similar power. Challenge a Friend sends a Game Center invite, and you can play live or take turns. On iPhone, iPad and Apple Vision Pro you can also start a match from a FaceTime call with SharePlay.
Both players need the same version of the game. If a match won't start, update from the App Store and try again.
Controllers and the Siri Remote
Game controllers work on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. On Apple TV, every screen also works with the Siri Remote. The real-time Rootdelve is easiest with a controller.
Apple Vision Pro
Battles open as a board in their own volume. Drag it onto a table and it settles there. Close it mid-battle and the main window waits for you; choose Return to bring the battle back. To fight across your room instead, turn on Battles in your room in Settings.
Accessibility and comfort
Settings has Gentle Mode (gentler battles with the same rewards), a readable font (Atkinson Hyperlegible), subtitles, Hold to confirm actions, battle and text speed, and haptics. The game also follows Reduce Motion. You can undo a move until you commit an action.
Replaying the tutorial
With a journal open, choose Settings › Replay tutorial.
